What we collect
To arrange a trip we collect your name, mobile number, email address where you give one, pickup and drop addresses, and details about your pet including species, size and temperament. Temperament matters because it determines which driver may carry your pet.
Why we collect it
- To quote, arrange and carry out your trip
- To give the assigned driver what they need to complete it safely
- To take payment and issue receipts
- To contact you about a booking
- To meet legal and tax obligations
Location data
Pickup and drop coordinates are stored so distance can be measured accurately and the driver can find you. During a trip we may record the vehicle’s location so we can tell you where your pet is.
Who we share it with
Your name, contact number, addresses and relevant pet details are shared with the driver assigned to your trip, because they cannot complete it otherwise. We share payment details with our payment processor. We do not sell your information or share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
Booking and payment records are retained as long as tax and accounting law requires. You may ask us to delete information we are not obliged to keep.
Your rights
You may ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or withdraw consent to marketing contact at any time. Write to hello@petcab.in.
Security
Passwords are stored hashed and never in plain text. Access to customer records is limited to staff who need it for their role.
